sustainabilityCommitment to
sustainable tourism

At Càmping Platja Cambrils we are committed to a model of responsible and sustainable tourism, integrated into our natural environment and respectful of the planet. Each action we implement aims to reduce the environmental impact, improve energy efficiency and contribute to social welfare. Located in the heart of the Costa Daurada, we work daily to be a campsite that is aware of and committed to the values of sustainability, both in the short and long term.

BIOSCORE certificationrecognised sustainability

Càmping Platja Cambrils has been assessed and certified with the BIOSCORE seal, a recognition that validates our good practices in terms of environmental, social and governance sustainability (ESG).

This certification audits criteria such as CO₂ emissions, efficiency in the use of energy and water resources, correct waste management, responsible catering and corporate social responsibility. Having BIOSCORE reinforces our commitment to transparency and continuous improvement, and allows us to offer our customers a more conscious, respectful and sustainable camping experience, in harmony with the territory.

Use of renewable energiesphotovoltaic
solar plant

With the aim of reducing our ecological footprint, we have installed a modern 162.84 kWp photovoltaic solar plant, which generates more than 216,000 kWh of net renewable energy per year. This production covers 31% of the campsite’s total electricity consumption and allows us to avoid the emission of more than 100 tons of CO₂ each year.

The project has been partially financed through the NextGenerationEU programme as part of the European Union’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, reinforcing our commitment to energy self-consumption, the ecological transition and the fight against climate change.
